Julija Janus’s exhibition “Queen, Kingdom and Feelings” now welcomes visitors!
Design Week reports that Julija Janus’s exhibition “Queen, Kingdom and Feelings” has opened at the National Museum of Lithuania’s House of Histories. It tells the story of Barbara Radziwiłł and Catherine Jagiellon, both born in Vilnius, who became queens in Poland and Sweden. Personal belongings and jewels of the queens lent from Hungary, Sweden and Poland are shown next to contemporary works, and it is called the first hybrid exhibition of history, art and design in Lithuania. President Dalia Grybauskaitė was its patron; after Vilnius it was to travel to Uppsala in Sweden.
