Gingerbread houses did not come about because there was a shortage of desserts. It came about because Barbara Radvilaitė loved gingerbread. And that, let's face it, is a historical thing to try.

And here are those gingerbread honey pretzels. Not just beautiful. They are decorated with edible, dried flowers – the same ones Barbora loves. Yes, we found the sources. Yes, we don't ignore them. Yes, we are serious about our cookies.

For this occasion, Vilnius now also has its own gingerbread. And they are not just tasty. They tell a story.

Hand-baked honey butter cookies are adorned with views of Vilnius Old Town.

Those connected to the love of Barbara and Sigismund Augustus. Because if you're already biting into a cookie, why not a sweet, crispy 16th-century love legend?

The packaging? Of course it’s special. Bright, orange, almost neon—the kind that would make even the rooftops of the Old Town jealous. The illustrations were created by Julija—with all her characteristic emotional precision. And Petras brought the design to life, because someone has to hold the visual crown on top of this buttery fairy tale.

And also tiny symbols of two hearts. Such a Christmas and Valentine's thing. With a crown.
