Janus, author of a historical detective novel about Barbara Radziwiłł: “This is another version of the legend”

Artist, placemaking designer and exhibition curator Julija Janus tries to bring historical figures and half-forgotten city stories closer to people today. This time her focus is on one of Lithuania’s most famous love stories: Barbara Radziwiłł and Sigismund Augustus. Janus explains how she turned a Renaissance legend into audio guides, city experiences and a historical detective novel offering a different – unexpected – version of Barbara’s story.
