Today's stars posed for a portrait of a famous historical couple: a violinist and the vocalist of „The Roop.“

„I didn’t know much about Sigismund Augustus and Barbora Radvilaitė—about as much as a generally unmotivated high school student usually knows. I think they were in love with each other, I think they were strong personalities, and something else, but nothing concrete that would have helped me appreciate the significance of this couple for Lithuania and Vilnius,“ says renowned Lithuanian artist Miglė Kosinskaitė, making no attempt to beat around the bush. How did it happen that the Vilnius Glass Quarter commissioned her specifically to paint a contemporary portrait of Sigismund Augustus and Barbora? And how did it happen that this very portrait inspired artist Julija Janus to create the cultural startup „Slapta meilė“ dedicated to this couple?
