The outside is dark clay, and the inside is an unexpected flash of orange. Like a spark of fire at a Renaissance ball, or Barbara's dress if she were attending a contemporary art exhibition today.

The shape of the goblet is unobtrusively theatrical, like an old love scene that still feels like a premiere. And yes, there are two of them, because a single goblet is sad even for a king.
