Julija Janus – About Art, Placemaking, and Queens

Julija Janus – a creator whose works blend fashion, art, and history. She transitioned from the fashion world to place-making, initiated public art installations, and founded „ARTerija“ – an open-air gallery without walls. Today, Julija works on various projects combining experience in art, fashion, design, marketing, and history. Julija's latest work is the concept for the international exhibition „The Queen, The Kingdom, and The Feelings.“ She is one of the curators of this exhibition at the Lithuanian National Museum (LNM). The exhibition is not only about Barbara Radziwiłł and Catherine Jagellon, but also about how women are perceived in history and today. We talk with Julija about how her ideas are born, what values she considers most important, and what the goals of this exhibition are.
