The modern image of Barbora Radvilaitė: would she be a megastar today?

As we approach the spectacular 500th anniversary of her birth, the Palace Museum shares another vision created by artists of what the legendary Barbora Radvilaitė would look like if she entered the Palace today.

500 years ago, on December 6, 1522, Barbara Radziwiłł, the future Grand Duchess of Lithuania and Queen of Poland, was born. When Barbara was still in the cradle, perhaps no one could have predicted that the name of this particular Radziwiłł girl would be spoken by future generations, that her personality would inspire creators, and spark so much discussion.
