A 90 minute tour of the most dramatic Royal Love Story and its remnants in Vilnius. The famous, romantic and dramatic legend was from real events that took place within Vilnius during the first half of the 16th century, forty years before William Shakespeare wrote about the adventures of Romeo and Juliet in Verona, Italy.
In 16th century Vilnius, the then Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland, Sigismund II Augustus fell deeply in love with a young widow, Countess Barbara Radziwiłł. History would be rather different if not for the events that followed…
